Super Bowl : new round of seizures in the US

The launch of the Immigration and customs Enforcement (ICE) service within the framework of the "Operation in our Sites" in June 2010 makes it harder for hackers to operate... Indeed, whereas almost 400 websites have already been seized, the ICE decided to strike during the Super Bowl, a big event in the US. As a result: over 307 litigious domain names have been seized. Among them, some websites selling counterfeit products and some others allowing Internet users to watch unauthorized TV streams like the super Bowl games (firstrowsports.tv, firstrowsports.com, robplay.tv, soccertvlive.net, sports95.com, sports95.org, sportswwe.tv, sportswwe.com, youwwe.com etc.).
The ICE comments its action: "The theft of ideas and the sale of counterfeit goods threaten economic opportunities and financial stability, suppress innovation and destroy jobs. The Justice Department, with the help of our law enforcement partners, is changing the perception that these crimes are risk-free with enforcement actions like the one we have just taken.”
