In this month of March 12, NORID, the Norvegian registry has decided to start a control process concerning its .NO domain names. Indeed, the registry believes that among all of his .NO holders, a great number of them might be no longer registered by the Brønnøysund Register Center. And of course, the problem is that this registration is compulsory for any entity who wants to own a domain name under the Norvegian extension.

On June 6, Norid will relaunch the Norwegian extension PRIV.NO. Through this action, the residents of Norway will have the possibility to register their own domain name. Something that most of them are happy to hear, since they were unable to open a domain under the national extension because of the very strict . NO registration rules.
