How do I upload my site without FrontPage extensions?


After activation of your hosting, you receive a mail from Register.be with the necessary information for the publication of your website:

- Server/hostname: your domain name (example: www.mydomain.net)

- Account/login: example: rb-mydomain

- Paswoord


You can publish your website with a FTP program. You could use the free software CoreFtp version LE or ohterwise Microsoft FrontPage.


A. To publish your site with CoreFtp:

Install and run CoreFtp

Click 'Connect' in the File menu

In the next screen, please enter following information:

- Site Name : Your domain name (example: mydomain.net)

- Host / IP / URL : Your domain name with www. (example www.mydomain.net)

- Username : the login you received from Register.be (starts with rb-)

- Paswoord : the password you received from Register.be

Click 'Connect'

Your webspace on our servers appears in the screen on your right.

You can now copy your files tot our servers.


B. To publish your site with Microsoft FrontPage:

Beware: this procedure may only be applied when your site has been constructed without FrontPage extensions!

- Open Frontpage

- Click ' Publish web' in the File menu

- Enter the server/hostname (see mail)

- Change the prefix 'http://' in 'ftp://'

- Enter your login and password (see mail)

- Download all changes on our webserver. Your website is published now


Attention: Our servers make the distinction between normal and capital letters.
